GOLDEN PUMPKIN SCAVENGER HUNT: HALLOWEEN

Tuesday, October 31 @ 1-8PM 
Treats, not tricks!  Locate the 10 golden pumpkins in the library to receive 10 surprises.  Wear your costume if you wish and come by for a fun time before or after trick-or-treating.

AN EVENING WITH AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR JOAN BAUER

Join us for an evening with Newbery Honoree Joan Bauer. Mrs. Bauer won numerous awards for her YA and middle grade novels, which include Hope was Here, Almost Home, Rules of the Road, Squashed, and Close to Famous.

Her most recent novel, Soar, is a 2017-18 Texas Bluebonnet Award Nominee.

This is a FREE Event.  Dessert with the author will precede the event from 6-6:40PM.  Books may be signed at the author dessert.   Books will not be available for purchase at the event.

S & D PUPPETRY PRESENTS “NUTCRACKER IN A NUTSHELL”

Puppeteers from S & D Puppetry will entertain children and adults with “Nutcracker in a Nutshell,”  their puppet version of the holiday classic.  This 45-minute puppet show is best for children ages 3 and up.  Experience Clara’s magical journey through classical music and the fun of puppets.

THE POLAR EXPRESS EXTRAVAGANZA

Tuesday, December 5 & Thursday, December 7 @ 6:30-8PM
Our sixth Polar Express Extravaganza is a not-to-be missed family event!  Travel the Library’s tracks through the story, visit with a special guest from the North Pole, work on a craft or two, enjoy the model train display, and then sip hot cocoa as you treasure this wonderful book come to life. The first train (figuratively) departs 6:30 p.m.
